Enerpac Tool Group common stock trades on the NYSE under the symbol EPAC.Brief OverviewThe Supply Chain Program Manager position plays a key role in the success of the Global Supply Chain Management team as we support Enerpac’s aggressive growth goals with extensive new product development (NPD) and our Supply Chain Optimization initiatives. This position is responsible to coordinate and align the resources required to successfully achieve our corporate objectives, including the development of processes with key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of our objectives.Key AccountabilitiesLeverages a high level of project management skills for supply chain related to new product development, outsourcing, VA/VE, supplier resourcing, large cost out initiatives, supplier crisis management and acquisition integration.Serves as the Supply Chain champion and identifies and secures cross-functional stakeholders to execute assigned projects on time.Liaises with Operations, Quality, Product Management, Engineering, and other functions to understand product and market requirements and to ensure clear communications and alignment of supply plans for project execution.Coordinates with key SCM global champions in Procurement & Supplier Quality to deliver a flawless and comprehensive plan transition of supply, selection and qualification of suppliers, supplier agreements, establish standards for quality, and other tasks as required for assigned projects.Supports global cross-functional process to ensure appropriate data points and considerations are included in Make Buy decisions, total cost of ownership is clear, and long-term sustainability of supply chain.Responsible for the project supply process to coordinate and align program related decisions to regional and global category strategies.Generates a supply chain roadmap / timeline to ensure project sourcing decisions and delivery are in line with project plans and business expectations.Establishes robust communication strategies to report on program status, communicates critical issues to external and internal customers, offers solutions, and implements corrective actions.Demonstrates managerial courage and leadership to escalate program challenges promptly and find solutions with key stakeholders.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesMust demonstrate the ability to lead through influence.Experience with large scale project management across multiple functional teams, operations life cycle, in depth analysis and problem solving.Preferred candidate will be a change agent and promote continued development of the evolving supply chain function.Working knowledge of manufacturing processes like machining, metal cutting, plastic injection molding, metal fabrication, electronics and assembly. Experience with low volume, high mix manufacturing processes is a plus.Proven ability to identify problems quickly, make sound judgments, establish and implement solutions.Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints, purchasing specifications, bill of materials is a plus.Demonstrates ability to work against deadlines to support company goals.Experience in Supply Chain and Business Application Systems (Oracle ERP systems is a plus).Effective time management, planning and organization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and drive tasks to completion in a fixed time-frame and in a pressured environment.Ability to deal with ambiguities, conflicts, and adversarial relationships.Familiar with a variety of manufacturing concepts, practices, procedures.Ability to lead and direct the work of others.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Computer Skills: Microsoft Project, Office, SharePoint, Oracle or other ERP system.Analytical skills to convert general data into actionable and insightful information to influence business planning and success.Effective skill set in managing systems and processes to measure, monitor, manage and impact performance. Improves processes and builds scalability.Knowledge of lean tools and mindset to drive for continuous improvement.A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Up to 25% Domestic and International travel is required for this position.Education and ExperienceBS in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering. MBA, CPM, CPIM, CSCP and / or PMP certification are both a plus.Minimum 5 years of proven, progressive supply chain experience in manufacturing.Physical DemandsEmployee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations. Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce and with supported organizations. Employee is able to work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time.Work EnvironmentPrimary work environment is temperature-controlled office setting, but may also include typical warehouse environment on occasion, where following appropriate safety protocols at the location would be required.
