The successful candidate will generate, lead, and manage projects related to global regulation of chemical products, with strong focuses on the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA).Your new roleAs our new Principal or Senior Managing Consultant, you will be a subject matter expert in the area of chemical regulations, including US and Canadian new chemical notifications and compliance, and you will help lead and drive business development and projects focused on product safety and stewardship. Your key responsibilities will be:Maintaining cutting-edge knowledge of developments in US and global industrial chemical control regulationsProviding high quality technical, scientific, and regulatory advice, including formulation of high-level regulatory strategy relating to global chemical control regulations and particularly the US TSCA and Canadian CEPA frameworksManaging multi-disciplinary, cross-geography projects while working with subject matter experts at Ramboll, and providing technical and regulatory consultancy services to clients in the chemicals, oil & gas, and other industrial sectorsActing as the primary client contact and being responsible for ensuring pre-market regulatory approvals are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within the proposed budgetMarketing your expertise and identifying potential new opportunities for growing the book of business and maintaining an established client network and independently managing those client relationshipsAbout youFor this role we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success:10+ years of experience working in a chemical regulatory environment in a consulting settingMS or PhD in chemistry, biology or a closely related fieldDemonstrated success in building business and developing successful client relationshipsExcellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain complex regulatory issues to business personnelStrong project management, analytical, research, and staff mentoring skills.What we can offer youInteresting and diverse projectsThe opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest professionals in your fieldFlexible work arrangementsGenerous Paid Time OffExcellent health and retirement benefitsInvestment in your developmentLeaders you can count on, guided by our Leadership PrinciplesAppreciation for the unique person you areSalary Transparency StatementAt Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $120,500 and $220,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.Ready to join us?Please submit your application.
