Job Purpose and Impact

The Retirement Specialist will help administer the employee benefit retirement programs and implement new programs. In this role, you will collaborate with business managers and human resources regarding benefit issues, activities and policies. You will use analytics to provide innovative and customer-oriented solutions.Key Accountabilities

Implement and administer cost-effective retirement benefit programs such as 401(k) and pension plans.Advise managers, employees, and human resources on retirement benefit issues and policies.May provide counseling and communicate benefits to employees.Analyze business or financial data by supporting operational aspects of defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans, including non-qualified retirement plans.Ensure compliance with laws and company policies through consistent application of benefits administration and processes.Use benefit principles, theories, and concepts for benchmarking, research, and analysis to ensure best-practice delivery of defined contribution/defined benefit plans.Partner with retirement vendors ensuring successful data integrations; monitors vendor administration of retirement plans, with guidance from senior team members.Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel.Minimum of two years of related work experience.Strong and proven analytical and critical thinking skills.Strong oral and written communication skills.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of principles and procedures for compensation and benefits and personnel information systems.Three years of retirement plan benefits administration experience.Experience working with defined contribution, defined benefit, non-qualified and/or employee stock ownership and retirement benefit plans.Experience with ADP payroll processes.Human resources certificate.Position Information
