The Personal Lines Sales Leader is responsible for maintaining a book of business as well as managing the day to day operation, sales plans, and productivity of the individual Personal Lines Sales Producers and future development of the Personal Accounts Sales Division.Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the Personal Lines Division. Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company’s culture, value & vision. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base and contributes to the development of training and education programs for producers. Takes the initiative to build the company’s brand through community involvement and works to strengthen relationships with company partners. Leads by example through managing a current book of business and actively pursuing new business opportunities.Supporting Functions:

Recruits and hires new producers based on criteria developed with Profit Center Leader.Trains new producers.Responsible for the performance of producers.Develops annual goals and objectives to be reviewed quarterly with each member of the sales team.Ensures all producers meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments & proposals.Assists in the preparation of action items for each team member to effectively search for and find new sales prospects.Assists producers in strategic preparation of proposals and presentations.Must have a thorough understanding of all products lines and utilize this knowledge to mentor, train & educate the production staff.Maintain client contact to ensure high levels of satisfaction.Sets a standard for customer service to be adhered to by all producers.Responsible for maintaining and growing a book of business.Responsible for developing relationships with key company partners.All other duties as assigned.Competencies:

3 years related experience and/or training is preferred.Valid driver’s license.Valid Georgia property & casualty insurance license is required.Knowledge of AMS360 and CRM, preferred, but not required.Effective communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently.Good communicator (oral and written).Ability to plan and instruct staff members on appropriate information.Proficient in Excel and Word is Required.Knowledge of other Microsoft office applications is preferred, but not required.This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are a requirement of this position.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
