As a Commercial Services Specialist II, this role plays a pivotal role as the primary point of contact for Manheim's low touch commercial clients' nationwide activities including administering post-sale operations at physical auction locations, MyCentral online auctions, private store sites, and seller payments. Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders nationwide, including 74+ auction locations, private store platforms, Business Operating Center, Finance, Operational Excellence, and Sales, this position serves as a liaison for effective communication between all parties. The role involves basic troubleshooting and problem-solving with clients, processing commercial sales and payments, and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of sales balancing, payment approvals, promotional fee posting, and client reports to meet or exceed contractual timeframes. The Commercial Services Specialist II contributes to the growth and success of the Commercial Services division by promoting and educating clients on various services offered within Inventory Solutions.

What You'll Do

Manage account relationships, maintain effective communications, and ensure customer requirements are met.Review and update condition reports, then approve and audit the vehicle repair reports.Walk vehicles with account representatives and make recommendations for reconditioning to increase vehicle value.Respond to customer inquiries about vehicles, providing quality service and resolving problems.Communicate with Lot Operations and Recon departments to ensure appropriate movement of vehicles to the shops as well as timely completion of reconditioning.Collaborate to prepare vehicles for sale and ensure appropriate scanning and organization.Review vehicles in our sale lineup, locate missing vehicles, and work with an account representative to ensure vehicles are ready for sale.Follow all safety and health procedures and model the behaviors related to such.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience.OR 5 years' experience in a related field.Effective communication and organization skills required.

Preferred:

Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.Prior experience in vehicle reconditioning, general auto body knowledge.Satisfactory computer skills and the ability to utilize a handheld portable terminal.Commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential.

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid role; you must report to a Manheim office at least 3 times per week.

USD 19.18 - 28.80 per hour

Compensation:

The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
