Top Banking institution is looking to hire multiple Product Owners in Richmond, VA and Kennesaw, GA.
Position SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to join Enterprise Payments Technology (EPT) and be part of a dynamic and fun team with amazing leadership. EPT is a global payments team which provides a wide range of financial platforms and services. EPT is made of core payment business technology functions including Merchant Solutions, Card Issuing, Digital Wallets, Transfers, Liability Payments, and Settlement. EPT facilitates the movement of roughly $693 trillion through the processing of approximately 18.8 billion transactions a year to more than 66 million consumer/small business relationships and 2 million wealth management clients.
Key responsibilities include creating the technology roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team. This role works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Product Manager in a scaled Agile model, to ensure there is alignment. They are developing in the role of a Product Owner, possessing a working knowledge of the product, and basic understanding of the business or technology domain. Ability to gather and document technical requirements.
Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.
Required SkillsSeasoned Product Owner to manage complex Merchant Services suite of projects. Strong financial management skills required.Create the vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain.Communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and problems.Create and prioritize work for a team, learning to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Creates and prioritizes stories in the product backlog.Refine stories with the team to ensure there are enough “ready” stories to load the next 1-2 sprints.Review and accept stories and make on-the-spot decisions regarding scope and requirements.Work in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business.Banking or regulatory industry experience.Seasoned technical analyst/project manager with experience in payments or complex solutions.Relationship building with business product owner and stakeholders.
Desired SkillsKnowledge of Payments or Financial Services space. Familiarity with various project management tools.Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications.Experience driving multiple projects simultaneously.Agile experience strongly desired.Merchant services experience.
