Manager for IT Strategic Sourcing to join our Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing initiatives for a variety of GNFR categories, including but not limited to cloud services, SaaS, software, hardware, infrastructure, telco, infosec, data centers, and network categories. You will be required to build and execute RFPs and auctions on Workday and other comparable sourcing platforms. The role will require you to have a strong foundation in financial analysis (Excel) and an understanding of commercial and contractual dynamics with IT/Tech vendors. The role reports to our Chief Procurement Officer.Profile Description

Focus on the following commodities: software, SaaS, cloud, telecommunications, professional services, ITO, and hardware.Recommend and implement category-specific sourcing methodologies and processes to achieve Resolution Life US’s enterprise objectives and specific business unit’s strategic plans. Drive action across functional organizations and across business units to affect policies, practices, processes, and procedures having an impact on revenue and profitability.Lead the implementation/execution of competitive bidding events (RFX), strategies, initiatives, and contracts/programs for highly complex and/or high-risk transactions. Understand spend analytics required to support the strategic objectives.Negotiate terms and conditions and pricing for purchases. Draft, redline, and negotiate contracts, including but not limited to master services agreements, license agreements, statements of work, order forms, etc.Ability to use Resolution Life US contract templates or modify supplier paper to meet the requirements of Resolution Life US.Act as a resource to the organization and senior management across multiple functions, divisions, and geographic locations.Interact with internal/external third parties at all levels of management to support the resolution of complex business issues requiring a balance of assertiveness, tact, business acumen, and diplomacy.Engage in strategic planning efforts at the business unit and enterprise level. Achieve annual savings targets and other performance metrics as assigned.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Advanced degree preferred.Minimum 8 years extensive, broad-based experience in IT sourcing for high complexity categories and/or projects.Acts with a sense of urgency with the ability to simultaneously lead multiple complex initiatives while consistently meeting timelines and milestones.Previous strategic sourcing experience for assigned categories is required. Comprehensive knowledge of business principles such as negotiating, consulting services, business and contract law, licensing, intellectual property, financing, and accounting.Ability to read and accurately interpret contracts.Deep understanding of software support and SaaS service level agreements.Strong competency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience with ERP solutions and the fundamentals of the source-to-pay process.This individual must be able to effectively negotiate pricing, commercial terms, IT terms, and contract terms with Resolution Life US’s existing and new suppliers.Key advisor highly capable of translating business and IT objectives into finite sourcing plans with clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and completion targets. Demonstrates knowledge of cost and price analysis techniques, proposal/contracting skills, project management, business management, and strategic category management techniques.Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are required. Strong team building skills are essential.Ability to be fully autonomous but have the requisite experience to know when to seek management’s input and advice to resolve negotiation sticking points and internal process roadblocks.Attention to detail on all aspects of the negotiation, including review of proposals, understanding prior contracts, reviewing proposed new contracts, and drafting/redlining contracts.Strong understanding of concession trading and the value of contracting variables that can be negotiated.Deep understanding of software license types and metrics.Location:

Preferred West Chester, PA or open to remote in EST/CST time zones with up to 15% travel.New York City - For roles being performed in New York City, Resolution Life is required to include a reasonable estimate of the base salary for the role. This base salary range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making base salary decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115,000 to $173,200.Critical Skills
