As an integral part of our team, with a primary role of managing a diverse book of business for recurring services, our account managers hold the fabric of our business together. The two essential focuses of this position are centered around client relations and strong employee leadership.

When relating to clients you’ll focus on building relationships, creating sales opportunities for additional services and projects, and renewing contracts. When leading our staff you’ll focus on training, mentoring, and supporting the staff in providing great results. In both instances, a willingness to roll up your sleeves and help get the job done when needed will help you succeed.

This is not an office job. Great Account Managers are in the field daily interacting with clients and employees. One moment they will be sending a new contract to a client, and the next they may be helping a team member weed a garden bed.

The ideal candidate for this position will have over 5 years as a leader or customer service specialist in landscape, horticulture, or a related field. Experience in snow operations is also required. We need you to know what makes an outdoors space outstanding, and how to make it happen.

What you’ll do:

Service client needs for top-quality property care

Manage and renew contracts

Realize and act upon additional sales opportunities

Resolve conflicts

Work alongside the staff in the field to coach, mentor, and train

Manage property take-offs and evaluations as needed

Effectively work independently and within a team

Team building

What you’ll need:

Associates degree in management or five years of management experience

Two years experience in sales/customer relations

5+ years experience in landscaping, horticulture, or a related field

Excellent communication skills

Excellent customer relation skills

Ability to remain objective when handling client or employee concerns

Creative problem solving

Use proper time management

Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office

The ability to learn applicable software systems such as Aspire

Participate in continued education opportunities regarding field operations or managerial skills with a primary focus on business development and sales

A clean Driving Record

Pay: $68,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
