We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team

at our Clackamas office. This is a full-time, exempt position, based 100% onsite. We offer a competitive base salary range of $105,000 - $125,000, plus an opportunity for up to a 15% bonus plan.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Supply Chain Manager will play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products. This position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of supply chain processes within the manufacturing industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supply Chain Strategy Development:

Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the supply chain for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Supplier Management:

Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms for the company, and carry out supplier visits and audits.

Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.

Demand Forecasting:

Collaborate with sales and production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and adjust supply plans accordingly.

Quality Control:

Implement quality control measures across the supply chain to maintain high standards of product quality and reliability. Carry out / coordinate Quarterly Business Reviews with key Suppliers.

Cost Management:

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies to achieve savings without compromising quality or delivery timelines.

Risk Management:

Proactively identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions to operations.

Compliance and Regulations:

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to supply chain management and product distribution.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages Purchasing and Planning personnel. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, motivating, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Expert proficiency with ERP systems, (Epicor strongly preferred).

Proven track record (10+ years) of hands-on involvement in Planning and Purchasing roles within the manufacturing sector, with a preference for expertise in pumps or related equipment.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of driving process improvements and achieving results.
