The Role at a glance:
Constellation Miami is seeking a Director of Service, a pivotal role aimed at delivering unparalleled events through top-tier hospitality. The Director will be at the forefront of each event, ensuring seamless execution and an exceptional experience throughout the event. This role involves comprehensive management of event dynamics, focusing on the meticulous orchestration of food and beverage service by overseeing the dedicated staff. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of luxury standards and demonstrate proficiency in managing all facets of event logistics and client interactions to create memorable occasions. Luxury experience is required.What you'll be doing:
Develop, train and mentor staffWork in tandem with event management staff to provide operational and staffing flow for events, across all of FloridaMonitor staffing levels to minimize cost and increase productivity. Recommend staffing needs according to business levelsManage a dynamic staffing team and support their efforts to ensure systems, process and requirements are being met.Develop necessary training programs for all Service associates to ensure consistent, high level service is being offeredManage the development and establish personnel action plans to recruit and hire service staff to meet business demands.Oversee and support the staff booking process, through in house staff as well as temp agencies.Create appropriate service plans for events, owning larger events and supporting staffing teamPresent at functions/events to ensure timeliness and conduct of staff; as well as service output, ensuring event success.Must have strong administrative and technology skills.What we're looking for:
