Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Senior Manager, Government Security Operations who will manage government security operations, including Geotab’s FedRAMP initiative and other non-FedRAMP environments. What you'll do:

Manage a number of direct reports to meet the mandate of the department including an Architect, Operational Lead, Process Lead, Security Administrators, analysts, and specialists.

Communicate complex ideas, goals, and problems in a way that is accessible even to those unfamiliar with Security.

Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Develop end-to-end understanding of Geotab's government/compliance/regulatory environment.

Collaborate with the Government team, Security Project Managers, assessors, Government officials and required teams to ensure Geotab meets all requirements for compliance, quality, risk, and timelines.

Improve efficiencies within the management of Government Services as it relates to Security.

Ensure FedRAMP-related projects are thoroughly vetted, tested, and approved before moving into production, including any POA&M approvals.

Develop strategies for the company to meet NIST SP 800-171 compliance requirements.

Identify, develop and implement/change all company processes required to meet Government compliance requirements.

Work with the Government Business Development team to maximize government efforts, and to ensure focus is on key areas of growth.

Provide expert project leadership and guidance to the team.

Oversee the activities and performance of direct reports.

Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.

What you'll bring to the role:

8+ years experience in security evaluation/analysis and/or risk assessments, specifically in Government Security Certifications (FedRAMP).

8+ years overall experience in Security technologies.

3-5 years experience managing or developing teams.

Proven experience in researching government regulations and ensuring compliance.

Experience writing and preparing business requirements.

Strategic mindset, with a keen sense of priorities.

Experience working within a technical or engineering organization, with knowledge of the high-technology industry considered an asset.

Ability to foster healthy employee relations.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage projects through to completion.

Possess a well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve well-judged decisions.

Strong team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
