Responsible for fulfilling customer expectations and addressing market specific requirements by sales channels for the product and service portfolio according to the four Ps: product, place, price, and promotion in the North America region. This function must ensure cross-functional and regional alignment to deliver a cohesive pricing strategy that will enhance sales and profitability across the MAHLE aftermarket North America portfolio.The Regional Pricing Team Lead interfaces with:Regional Sales Director and Regional Sales Team, Regional Technical Service & Support, and Regional Sales OperationsRegional Marketing Director, Product Category Management, Customer Marketing and Communication, Product Category ManagementProduct Management – Receives inputs about program spectrum, market specific requirements of customers, price, specs, brands, range, positioning.Controlling – Collaborates on pricing strategy, commercial policy and profitabilityGlobal Pricing and Commercial Policy – Develops governance frameworks for deploymentESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Define, manage and implement business processes within operational areaAdhere to organization’s policies, compliance regulations and applicable laws (including the MAHLE Commercial Policy)Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance to processes and regulations within operational areaAlign within the region and conduct know-how transfer between regions regarding strategic and operational plansConduct external benchmarking and participate in external industry associations and channel specific eventsDrive market intelligence activities regarding market and customer trends, development, legal and political influences as well as competitors’ activitiesStrive for continuous improvement by developing business opportunities to enhance revenue generation and increase operational efficiencyAnalyze monthly pricing reports and advanced price & sales potential to identify improvement areas & corrective measuresAnalyze target sales prices and minimum sales prices within the sales region based on input from product category and product group to ensure profitability of the product, product line, and product portfolioEnsure price harmonization across markets to avoid re-importsImplement methods & tools for price and margin management, enable introduction of a global pricing softwareLead annual price review and deployment process for regionDevelop means and processes to gather, manage, and analyze sales, market and pricing data.Use and analytics of Pricing Calculator tools, Price Shopping Tools, and other competitive pricing data to establish market pricing.Analyze and develop pricing, margins, trends, and competitive analysis.Collaborate with Sales, Product Management & Supply Chain Functions to develop and implement a pricing strategy by product line ensuring acceptable margins and competitive pricing.Support business development managers on pricing strategies and programs.Assist with pricing negotiations of customer’s proposals.Analyze financial impact of price approach in view of overall history as well as profitability of customer (Example: new customers and requests for special quotes).QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Business or similar from a four-year accredited university is required; Master's degree is a plusMinimum 5+ years of experience in Pricing, Marketing or Sales Management function within the Automotive and/or Automotive Aftermarket industry is requiredExperience with Price Management, Aftermarket, sales channels, Marketing, and Communication is required3 or more years of pricing experience within SAP is requiredAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors & customersHigh Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is requiredFacts about the job
