Job SummaryReporting to Sundt's CFO, the Director of Facilities and Office Services will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of all company facilities, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and conducive to a productive work environment. This role will involve strategic planning, budgeting, procurement and coordinating the needs of all Sundt facilities and their office services requirements, considerate of certain facilities being run at the direction and budgeted within Sundt businesses. The Director of Facilities and Office Services will evaluate the current organization, assessing how the Facilities and Office Services departments are suited to support the Company's long-term strategic plan.Key ResponsibilitiesAs needed, develop and distribute communications necessary to minimize business disruption during planned or unforeseen events.Assess and maintain facility management policies and procedures.Assess and maintain office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.Conduct regular assessments of facility conditions and identify areas for improvement.Coordinate office moves, renovations, and space planning with business groups.Develop and implement short and long-term plans for facility improvements and expansions.Develop and manage the annual facilities and office services budget.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.In partnership with Sundt Legal, support management of storage and disposition of Company records.Lead and mentor a team of facilities and office services staff.Manage relationships with Sundt offices, vendors, service providers and tenants.Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.Oversee office services team, including office reception, mailroom operations, office supplies, and administrative support.Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all company facilities, including offices, warehouses, and other properties.Partner with Sundt groups such as Finance & Accounting in maintaining reporting appropriate to support management of Sundt operations.Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management.Responsible for vendor relationships, explore and implement vendor arrangements that take advantage of Sundt's scale with minimal disruption.Serve on Crisis Committee for Sundt, recommending appropriate investments to ensure the safety of all Sundt owned and leased facilities.Minimum Job RequirementsAbility to work independently and handle multiple priorities.Demonstrated experience in crisis management (e.g., fire, utility disruption).Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills as evidenced by team management experience.Experience negotiating successful commercial agreements with third parties (leases, subleases, vendor arrangements, among other).Experience with sustainability and energy management initiatives is preferred.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in the construction industry.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs while satisfying infrastructure needs.Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and safety regulations.Physical RequirementsMay stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day.Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs on an occasional basis.Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors.Safety LevelSafety-SensitiveNote: Jobs with the Safety-Sensitive designation are those that include tasks or duties that the employer reasonably believes could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others such as operating a vehicle, operating equipment, operating machinery or power tools, repairing/maintaining the operation of any vehicle/equipment, the handling/disposal/transport of hazardous materials, or the handling/treatment/disposal of potentially flammable/combustible materials.Equal Opportunity Employer Statement:
