Responsible for utilizing specialized skills to counsel students with complex personal, educational, vocational or related problems.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides individual and group counseling.Formulates and diagnoses problems and suggests remedial treatment.Assists clients with complex behavioral health, personal, social and academic concerns.Serves as Counselor on Duty (COD) providing urgent assessment and intervention.Develops and facilitates a variety of outreach activities including groups, workshops, and campus screening sessions.Performs related duties as required.Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree or equivalent in social work, clinical or counseling psychology, or counseling and/or equivalent relevant experience with three (3) years of experience in a clinical counseling setting.Licensed Mental Health Provider in the state of Texas.Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Office Suite.Presentation and Organizational skills.Other Requirements
