Harvey Beef operates as part of the Harvest Road Group.The RoleHarvey Beef is seeking a dedicated and proactive Trade Assistant to join our dynamic maintenance team full-time on a rotating night shift roster based in Harvey, WA.Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the Tradesman in various tasks across the plant, conducting repairs and maintenance and maintaining the workshop and associated equipment.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting fitters with the repair and servicing of plant equipment.Lubricating plant equipment and tools.Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop.Performing routine duties to support night-time operations.Selection CriteriaTo be successful, the following is required:Previous mechanical experience is essential, along with a demonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and develop new skills.A high school certificate or equivalent, with further related experience or training.A forklift certificate is desirable.A current national Manual
