Job Description:
Hite Consulting is seeking a Full-Time Project Manager who will be responsible for planning and overseeing all work to ensure it is completed in a timely fashion and within budget. The Project Manager will have oversight and supervise the work of the contractor workforce, provide back-up services as needed to contractor staff, prepares and submits all required report data and information to the Hite HQ Program Manager in support of our customer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Project Manager will report to the Hite Consulting Program Manager.
This position is primarily remote, and candidates should be in the following area or general vicinity: Atlanta, GA with the ability to travel to CDC for client engagement activities or as requested.
This position is Contract Contingent and has not yet been awarded.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and manage program efforts including service delivery, cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance;
Assists on deliverables (project plans, monthly reports, ad-hoc reports), schedules, invoice preparation, and any information the client requests;
Interfaces with project personnel continuously;
Manages to ensure continual full administrative coverage of the Division’s Offices;
Manages to ensure timely and exceptional quality of work assignments;
Manages project resource allocations, including supporting recruiting efforts for needed project personnel;
Manages/develops project costs ensuring alignment with financial targets;
Ensures compliance with all regulatory and administrative provisions within contracts and subcontract agreements;
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management or similar field;
Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience managing projects with a bachelor's degree or six (6) years with a master’s degree;
Active PMP Certification ;
Demonstrated experience managing multi-task projects of various types and complexity in the management consulting arena;
Demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting;
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines for projects; track timelines, budgets, and ensure scope of work is followed;
Must be highly organized, analytical, have ability to motivate and manage others;
Knowledge and experience in CDC operations is desired;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Excellent skills in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Planner, Teams);
US Citizenship is required to obtain or maintain an active NACI security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting project management and delivery to CDC or agencies within HHS.
Management consulting experience serving the Federal government.
Experience supporting federal business capture and proposal efforts.
Knowledge of government contracting and government processes.
