Each of Summit’s companies celebrates their individual legacies, but together - we are Summit Materials.OverviewOwns all aspects of daily cement terminal operations (barge unloading and truck loading), from the safety, development and engagement of the team, supply and vendor management, preventative maintenance, critical spares, budget management, cost control, compliance to meet customer commitments.Safety First Always; Actively manages risks by ensuring that all related control activities are thoroughly implemented; Promotes a culture of incident reporting and leading indicators, 5S, Stop, See, Say or Do Something; Committed to effective incident management, active participation in incident reviews, investigation, and corrective actions; Supports a good standing in the community, sustainable operations, adhering to all regulations.Lead by Example: “Roll up the Sleeves” approach accompanied by inspiration and empowerment to engaging, coaching, retaining, developing, and promoting the team.Elevate Organization: Ensure clear, tactful, concise communication flows upwards and downwards throughout the organization. Work closely with Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales, Quality, and Finance.High Performance Culture: Execute on company vision and goals, supply and vendor management, preventative maintenance, critical spares, compliance, develop budget and cost forecasts for terminal operations and capital requirements, identify cost control measures, manage capital projects, and continuous improvement opportunities to meet customer commitments.Skills & ExperienceRequired Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.Required Work Experience:

3-5 years progressive management experience in cement or similar industry with P&L responsibility, exposure to OSHA, self-starter with integrity and trust, building effective teams, decision quality, conflict management, problem solving, dealing with ambiguity, drive for results.Required Mechanical & Operational:

3-5 years preventative maintenance, detecting and resolving operational challenges, experience in budgeting and forecasting, flexibility to work shift and weekends as operations require.Build a lasting career with us.
