Join us and be part of a vibrant, entrepreneurial organization that makes a meaningful impact on the lives of Idahoans.In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:Modification:Prepare and execute loan modifications, partial claims and deferments for all agencies. (FHA, VA, RD, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac)Thorough understanding of modification process according to State guidelines (ID, WA, IA, NM, SD, TX, CT).Work with legal counsel – Knowledge of vesting/title/recording and liens.Work with Title Companies – understanding of legal descriptions, vesting correctness, and Successor In Interest documentation.Understanding of state statutes for title vesting changes.Work with IHFA Secondary Market Dept. and Investor accounting coordinating loan pooling and investor changes.Knowledge of all agency loan programs and verify correct approvals in place for each file.Thorough understanding of real estate documents, Deeds of Trust, Mortgages, Notes and Title reports.Understanding of delinquency controls and escrow calculations.Reporting:Delinquency and Loss Mitigation reporting to the different investors and Mortgage Insurance companies. (FHA, VA, RD/USDA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, all MI CO’s)Process Loss Mitigation Claims and incentives.Reporting and tracking of modification department pipeline.Loan Administration:Understanding of HUD Counseling.Review loans in the modification pipeline for accurate program approval and loan type.Monitor payment processing for title company recording and title costs.Modify/Process all GSE and IHFA Portfolio retention options.Verify accounting transaction processed completely for each modification.Reliability & Engagement:Maintains good attendance and punctuality.Responsible for adhering to work schedules and ensuring that supervisor is apprised of any schedule changes due to unforeseen appointments or schedule conflicts.Personal Development:Participates in training/cross-training and other educational classes that will benefit the Association, and the individual as it relates to the job.Is a team player and works toward Association goals.Shows interest in maintaining good work life balance.May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.RequirementsPosition qualifications required are the following:2-3 years of experience in residential real estate lending, residential loan processing, loan closing, loan servicing or a combination of education and experience in related fields which clearly demonstrates a thorough understanding of the functions listed above.Experience with loss mitigation programs and loan counseling preferred.
