In addition, we offer tuition waivers for employees and dependents.Description:Performs administrative duties and provides faculty support relevant to the administration of the Nurse Anesthesia Program. Reports directly to the Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program with a dotted line report to Director, Recruitment & Enrollment Strategy.Duties & Responsibilities:Provides administrative support to the Program Director, Assistant Program Director and the full-time and adjunct faculty.Plan, organize, and schedule meetings in the office via videoconference and NA Program events as needed.Coordinate travel arrangements for Nurse Anesthesia Program.Reserve rooms and organize events and meetings.Assist with Nurse Anesthesia Program purchasing and submission of professional development reimbursement for the Program Director, Assistant Program Director, and program faculty.Direct recruitment and admissions processes for Nurse Anesthesia program applicants under the supervision of the Director, Recruitment & Enrollment Strategy or their designee.Organizes and maintains files for applicants, enrolled students and alumna information.Assist with course roster and registration-related activities for enrolled students and communicate with the College of Nursing OAESS staff and registrar's office on behalf of faculty and students as needed.Maintains all course materials (CRS forms, syllabi, course evaluations, clinical evaluations, etc.).Staff program committee meetings, including calendar scheduling, organization of attendees, agendas and writing meeting summaries.Oversee collection and compilation of course, student, clinical site, and program evaluations; maintain faculty/clinical site/student data in Typhon database.Organizes the collection of data for accreditation reports.Provide applicants with program promotional materials; supply webmaster with data, recruitment and admissions information to ensure Nurse Anesthesia concentration webpage of UIC Nursing website is up to date per COA accreditation guidelines.Order office supplies and maintain general office area.Oversee special projects as assigned.Assist with other duties as identified by the program director.Minimum Qualifications Required:1. Bachelor's degree.Preferred Qualifications:Two years of administrative and clerical experience.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and use of Excel for tracking data to monitor program outcomes. Aptitude for learning new software programs and systems.Knowledge of Typhon student clinical tracking platform, FileMaker, Qualtrics survey software, SLATE student recruitment software.Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.Ability to work effectively with staff, the public, and outside constituency groups.Ability to organize and multi-task.Ability to supervise and knowledge of administrative concepts and methods.Ability to utilize various computer software packages.Ability to work independently and exercise judgment to be able to analyze and investigate a variety of questions or problems.To Apply:
