As one of the largest electrical contractors in the Charlotte Metro Area, we at Recore pride ourselves on providing the highest level of service possible.PLEASE READ QUALIFICATIONS BEFORE APPLYING TO THIS POSITIONRecore Electrical Contractors is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Industrial Electric Division. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for helping Project Managers in the planning, directing, and coordinating industrial electrical projects. The Assistant will be working closely with Project Managers assisting with daily tasks such as coordination of projects, submittals, RFIs, estimates, and various other duties.This is intended to be an entry-level position for someone who is looking to start a career in project management. Ideal candidates for this position have recently graduated with a Construction Management degree or have equivalent work experience in Project Management. Having prior industrial electrical experience is a huge plus.Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Assist in the organization and management of various projects.Assist in the financial projections.Assist the project staff to outline work-plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.Help coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.Assist in preparing status reports for project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.Assist in the preparation of project reports for management, clients, or others.Assist project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.Assist the onsite superintendent with duties specific to the project.Maintain a viable and positive relationship with the customer.Handle stress and job demands effectively.Cooperatively work with others.Experience:College graduate with a construction-related degree or equivalent work experience with a High School Diploma or GED.Detail-oriented professional with exceptional problem-solving skills who loves new challenges and has a drive for results.Strong communication and organizational skills.Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).Current driver's license and own transportation to the office.For the Employee:Employee Stock Option Plan - Matching 401k - Medical, Dental, Vision (Medical premium paid 100% for the employee) - PTO - Paid Holidays - Short and Long Term Disability - Life Insurance
