MissionDevelop the 3-year business plan and implement the strategic growth plan of OriginAir while being responsible for the P&L of OriginAir within Atlas Copco Compressors LLC.Roles and ResponsibilitiesAn energetic result-driven person with an entrepreneurial attitude who is responsible for running the commercial side of our used equipment business.Responsible for marketing, bundling with sales campaigns, promoting, selecting, and purchasing used equipment within the organization that will ultimately be refurbished and sold under the OriginAir program throughout the US and ultimately North America.Work closely with the VP BLM equipment, RVP regions, and the VP of Technical Operations.Develop the marketing and communication strategy. Prepare marketing materials and literature.Train and support the various team sales and service. Proactively purchase used machines from the market.Coordinate buy-back projects/trade-in program/campaigns together with the regions. Define the buy-back and sales pricing for used equipment as a competitive edge.Manage the inventory and the OriginAir website. Proactively manage sales of OriginAir machines throughout the Atlas Copco Customer Centers (Americas).Responsible for all sales, operations, and profit targets for OriginAir North facility in Charlotte, NC and for operations of OriginAir South in Houston, TX.Present achievements on a regular basis in business review meetings and report monthly achievements to management.Work hand-in-hand with the VP BLM of CTS Sales and the VP of Technical Operations.Coach and develop your team.Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.Take appropriate action to get the job done and maintain communications with all necessary personnel.Perform other duties as assigned.To succeed, you will needQualificationsSupervisory ResponsibilityNoneExperience5+ years of relevant field experience in customer center sales, marketing, and operations. Proven ability to organize sales/service projects as well as create and implement a successful business development plan and to handle a demanding workload. Technical knowledge of Atlas Copco equipment is a must. Operational experience is a plus.EducationDegree level education in Engineering and/or Marketing.SkillsMust have a strong sales and technical background with relevance to the compressed air industry. Sales experience is a plus. It is essential to be a motivated, driven, and self-directed team player with a positive attitude. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills are essential. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Developing proficiency in other corporate systems such as BPCS, SAP, and Cloud for Sales is also required.
