Saunders Corp. expects our Converting Specialists to be industry leaders in the technical & converted solutions industry. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing and growing revenue & profits within your assigned regional territory by selling to existing customers and acquiring new business. This is a great opportunity to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to improve business and create solutions that serve both Saunders Corp. and R.S. Hughes’ customers. Outside Sales Converter Specialist70% - End User Account Management & New Business Development – Develop new end user customers while growing and mining existing customer accounts to assure customer retention and development of new business opportunities for increased product sales.20% - Vendor Management & Design Solutions – Optimize various materials, machine performance, and vendors relationships to reduce costs & introduce new value adds to you customer base.10% - Administration – Training, territory planning, sales administrative activities, and reporting.Actively manage and grow a dedicated regional territory.Partner with Saunders Sales Engineers and Estimating team to meet or exceed regional sales goals.Provide a world class customer service experience operating with a sense of urgency and integrity effectively working with teammates and vendors.Ability to design and spec‘in converted solutions specific to your customer’s needs & value requirements.Utilize strong interpersonal skills to effectively and frequently interacting with all levels of the customer's organization.Utilize technical, mechanical, creative skills to effectively collaborate with customer engineering departments. AutoCAD/solid Works experience preferred but not required.B2B cold calling to continuously be prospecting for new accounts and applications.Collaborate with R.S. Hughes sales force to leverage existing customers.Assist Management in educating/training of Saunders converting expertise to distribution sales force within R.S. Hughes.Other job duties as assignedEducation/Certification/LicensesFour-year college degree preferred, but not required.5+ Years successful experience selling a converted product in an outside sales role.Valid driver's licenseSkills That Will Make You SuccessfulIndustrial, Manufacturing, and Product knowledge preferred but not required.Business to Business technical sales experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously.Superior follow up skills in developing, monitoring, and executing sales plans to achieve regional sales goals.CompensationOur merit-based salary/bonus program offers exceptional growth opportunities.
