Job Description:
Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Student Recruitment, this position serves as the point person for graduate recruitment for health professions within the Lansing Programs. This position spearheads the process for developing robust online, in-person, and off-campus recruitment efforts, creating high-impact recruitment experiences, and assisting with admission processes including financial aid and other important enrollment processes. Cultivating relationships with prospective students to help them appreciate the distinctive educational experience at Bellarmine University is critical to this position. The Assistant Director will work closely with program directors, chairs, associate deans, Academic Deans of the Lansing Graduate Programs, and Student Recruitment and Admission leadership to establish recruitment goals and gain a thorough understanding of the unique qualities of each degree track. This position is responsible for managing recruitment and admission activities and tactics increasing the likelihood of achieving enrollment goals.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Assistant Director of Student Recruitment and Admission will work with their Assistant Dean and other senior leadership to determine market areas of focus for the recruitment of graduate students for admission and matriculation. This role will work to recruit, engage, and enroll students for all assigned programs, and be the main point of contact for students from inquiry to enrollment. The position will work to achieve targeted recruitment goals and build relationships with key stakeholders. In addition, this position will:
Perform prompt outreach to inquiries and students in the enrollment funnel through phone calls, emails, virtual appointments, and social media platforms;
Manage graduate admission applications of students in assigned programs. This includes assisting students through the admission process, reading, reviewing, interviewing, and making admission recommendations;
Meet, maintain and support graduate enrollment goals determined in conjunction with Student Recruitment and Admission leadership and Academic Deans of health professions programs;
Create solutions to enhance lead generation through outreach strategies and activate ideas to inspire more campus visits and engagement;
Coordinate and participate in the planning, implementation, and oversight of recruitment events on and off campus, including campus visits and programs;
Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations, community partners, and other key stakeholders;
Utilize technology to engage with target audiences, as well as to streamline processes to make enrollment seamless;
Actively participate in regular enrollment planning meetings with departments to evaluate and improve recruitment operations, processes, procedures, and strategies;
Collaborate with academic departments, communications, and marketing teams to ensure that programmatic information is accurate and up to date for prospective students and staff on all mediums (e.g., print materials, website, social media);
Serve as a liaison for students with Office of Financial Aid and Student Accounts. Knowledgeable of each area in order to support potential students' questions and enrollment journey;
Maintain current understanding of enrollment processes for assigned programs including, but not limited to application process, admission standards, financial aid procedures, registration policies, and use of CRM (SLATE); and
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree; Master's degree (Preferred)
Three or more years of student recruitment, education advocacy or college counseling experience
Experience in student recruitment, education advocacy or college counseling
Self-starter, highly motivated, well-organized and a team player
Ability to manage multiple projects, establish timelines, meet deadlines, and achieve set goals
Outstanding communication/interpersonal skills and abilities
Knowledge of ethical recruitment practices, financial aid, and work with standards set forth by NAGAP, NACAC, and AACRAO
Experience working with a CRM or recruitment database while maintaining the confidentiality of information
Ability to work and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds
