RK&K is currently seeking an experienced Risk Assessment Manager to provide professional risk expertise in the oversight of FTA-funded major capital transit projects. The Risk Assessment Manager II will review project sponsor's risk management plans and supporting documentation and is responsible for performing risk and contingency reviews for FTA-funded major capital transit projects by serving as a technical resource and subject matter expert in risk assessment and mitigation. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from any location.
Essential FunctionPerform risk and contingency reviews for FTA-funded major capital transit projects by serving as a technical resource and subject matter expert in risk assessment and mitigation.Review project sponsor's risk management plans and supporting documentation.
Required Skills and ExperienceBachelors Degree in Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program.OR
a Bachelor of Architecture from a NAAB Accredited Program.OR
licensure as a Professional Engineer in the United States.Certification as a Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP or DRMP) is required.Expert knowledge in performing probability modeling using factoring and Monte Carlo simulation for risk analysis related to cost and schedule values.Minimum of 12 years of overall experience working on risk assessments with 5 of the 12 years in passenger rail or related transportation modes.6 of the 12 years of experience planning, designing, and implementing an overall risk management process for an organization.
