In this role you will work with highly dedicated professionals at Molex who focus on our innovative COEUR Socket Technology product line. You will work with our product development and strategic marketing teams to bring new product capabilities to market.
This position is expected to effectively collaborate with Engineering, Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and our Distribution Partners. Summarized below are the requirements for the position as well as responsibilities and associated expectations.
What You Will DoWork with an experienced Product Manager who will serve as your mentorIncrease revenue, profitability, and market share of assigned productsConcept test new ideas with Sales, target customers, and distributorsPerform a financial analysis to ensure that each proposed development will meet Molex’s profitability requirementsCreate Voice of the Customer product requirements that specify the needed features to be developed by EngineeringReview Engineering design proposals to ensure that they meet the requested product requirementsCreate promotional material and sample kits for product launchesTrain Sales, customers, and distributors on our existing and new product capabilitiesWork with our plants on capacity planning and cost reduction activitiesReview and approve pricing requestsPosition is located in Lisle, Illinois and requires 15% domestic travel and occasional international travel.Who You AreBachelor’s degree in engineering or business6 months or greater experience in product management, sales, or sales engineeringOrganizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize and self-monitor workloadExperience presenting to large groupsProven history of effectively working with co-workers and external contacts to effectively build relationships, respond positively to situations, and influence othersWillingness to travel to customers and distributors as needed.What Puts You AheadTechnical degreeExperience in connector industryKnowledge of the Datacenter, Electrification, or Industrial markets.At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
