This role involvesmonitoring emerging global ESG disclosure regulations and standards,implementing and strengthening ESG data collection and automation anddesigning and leading ESG regulatory reporting processes. We arelooking for an experienced leader with deep knowledge of ESG regulations andreporting frameworks, supported by strong accounting expertise, to joinour team and help us further advance our industry leadership. This positionwill be a director-level role and will report to the VP, Global ESG with amatrixed reporting line to the VP, SEC Reporting.Key responsibilities include:Regulated ESG Reporting. Lead, manage and develop a full understanding ofthe reporting requirements for certain regulated ESG disclosures, includingthe EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) andCalifornia climate disclosure regulations. Support the SEC Reporting team withSEC-regulated ESG disclosures and review, as required.ESG Data Collection and Automation. Evaluate current data and informationavailable for CSRD and California regulations, assess gaps, andcollaborate with Prologis teams who are leading our global ESG dataprocesses, systems and automation strategies to ensure the new requirementsare covered through our global data strategy.Support of Internal Controls and Audit Readiness. Work with SEC Reporting todevelop and implement new internal controls for new and existing ESG data,metrics and reporting processes, in collaboration with additional keyinternal stakeholders including Internal Audit, ESG, IT, OperationalExcellence, and Legal teams. Partner with internal accounting team onaudit-readiness of ESG data, confirming documentation required for keymetrics, assessing completeness and accuracy, and outliningdecision-making processes and governance oversight.Report Assurance and Materiality Assessments. Partner with internalaccounting team assurance engagements of ESG disclosures for new global ESGregulations and voluntary reporting. Manage key aspects of the doublemateriality process required for CSRD compliance.Voluntary ESG and SEC Reporting Support. Contribute regulation expertise toour ESG team members who lead our voluntary ESG disclosures and annual GHGInvent ry process. Review data and documentation and identify processimprovement opportunities and ensure alignment and consistency in data acrossglobal ESG reporting, including corporate, SEC-filed and voluntary reports.Regulation Trends Monitoring. Monitor and maintain a deep understanding ofthe evolving ESG reporting and disclosure landscape, including frameworks,standards, and regulations. Create an internal tracker/dashboard to ensurealignment across internal teams (e.g., Government Affairs, ESG, GlobalAccounting, and Local real estate teams).Action Plans. Develop governance framework and action plans to close gapsand meet new compliance requirements, including analysis of ROI of optionsand process requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhancethe efficiency and effectiveness of ESG data management and reportingprocessesBuilding blocks for successRequired:7+ years' experience in ESG reporting and standards and regulation aswell as accounting and financial reporting, internal controls, riskmanagement, data management, or related fields for large publiccompanies, with prior leadership roles.Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting / Finance (or otherrelevant field of study) required.Strong command of ESG reporting standards, frameworks and regulations suchas GRI, SASB, TCFD, IFRS/ISSB, CSRD, EU Taxonomy.Experience leading strategic projects and teams in complex, multinationalenvironments with exposure to different reporting requirements.Critical thinker with strong financial analysis and numerical data skills.Ability to work across cross-functional groups, navigate ambiguity,
