This position manages a team of export professionals and ensures that export processes are executed in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and lead a team of export professionals.Develop and implement export processes and procedures.Ensure that export processes are executed in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner.Coordinate with internal teams, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods.Maintain relationships with customers and partners.Analyze market trends and identify areas for process improvement.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.Manage and oversee documentation for export shipments.Develop and implement training programs for the export team.Educational Background / Work ExperienceA bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required.At least 5 years of experience in ocean export operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Familiarity with export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and industry best practices.Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and communication skills.Proficient in using computer software programs related to logistics and supply chain management.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing a team of ocean export coordinators.Preferred QualificationsExperience with leading ocean cargo logistics software and systems.Familiarity with ocean freight regulations, customs requirements, and export controls.Knowledge of shipping routes and schedules.Language SkillsFluency in English is required.Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.Computer LiteracyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with logistics software and systems is required.At Will EmploymentDSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as “at will” employees. $27.75 - $37.75 / Hourly.
