On W2 with limited benefitsJob Description:The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.Job Responsibilities:Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategiesGathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developersPrepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementationDemonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunitiesSupports one or more highly complex business processesWorks on multiple projects as a project team memberServes as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred5-7 years’ experience requiredBasic knowledge of programming languages in order to comprehend reading code and basic functionsAbility to create business solutions that increase competitive advantageAbility to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutionsProject management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlinesAbility to solve technical problems/processes and understand complex detailsAbility to increase operating efficiency and produce high-quality technical solutionsA high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge levelAbility to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutionsCandidate Requirements:Years of Experience Required – 2-4 years of experienceDegrees or certifications required – No degrees or certifications requiredDisqualifiers – Need to be quick to learn and be able to work in AmbiguityBest vs. Average – their impactExperience with PBIDevelopmentUnderstanding how data is used/reportedProject management experiencePerformance Indicators:Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience:1) 2+ years of overall supply chain experience or certification2) 2+ years of overall Excel skills3) 2+ years of overall project managementTypical Day in the Role:Purpose of the Team –Side of AzureData integrityMaster data managementKey projects:Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm:40% of meetings30% PBI editing30% data analysis driving action to improve the data
