This position requires a deep understanding of renewable fuel markets including regulatory market design and competitive marketplace profile. The candidate must have the ability to develop innovative hedging approaches for structured transactions using physical or financial products. The candidate should have a history of successful trading, and should be able to generate p&l from both proprietary and asset-based strategies. The candidate must have an ability to assimilate information from and work closely with multiple disciplines including: market fundamentals, risk management, marketing and origination, credit, finance, commodity traders and quantitative analysts.Job Overview
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Performs individual research, deal entry management, and monthly reconciliation• Makes markets for asset optimization groups that are responsible for hedging company's nationwide generation portfolio• Applies knowledge of multiple trading transaction systems• Manages a profitable proprietary trading book• Trains less experienced traders• Performs other job-related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications
