The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee the set-up, design and presentation of each banquet, restaurant operations for lunch and to plan and execute member events to ensure a successful and well-coordinated event. The Food & Beverage Manager will also oversee all on course F&B operations for Pebble Beach Golf Links.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Observe and enforce the policies, values, standards, and procedures set forth by the company.
Hire, train, discipline and evaluate employees.
Perform administrative duties, including requisitioning and profit/loss calculations.
Attend pre-cons, catering, staff, food and beverage, weekly and monthly departmental meetings.
Schedule employees and approve overtime consistent with the week's banquets and events.
Supervise captains, set-up staff, servers, bussers, hosts, bartenders, and F&B Coordinator.
Work with F&B Coordinator to plan, promote and execute member events.
Coordinate and communicate all event details with chef, captains, servers.
Coordinate server assignments with captains.
Coordinate set-up assignments with set-up staff.
Check linen requirements and order accordingly.
Brief servers, other employees and any outside services assisting with the event of their duties and responsibilities.
Check staffing for following day's events, ensuring adequate coverage.
Be present on the floor daily during lunch service and weekly member Happy Hour.
Meet with meeting planners and coordinate any changes requested.
Communicate with other departments regarding the coordination of all events.
Maintain overall cleanliness and orderly condition within the restaurant/banquet area.
Conduct monthly inventory, add to EATEC and submit inventory sheets to Purchasing.
Valid California driver’s license.
Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Required Skills:
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to deal directly with the public.
Ability to work well under pressure.
2+ years Food & Beverage experience.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Delphi and SpringerMiller preferred.
