Reporting to the Director of Retail, this role develops and executes customer specific business plans to maximize profitable volume through distribution, shelving, merchandising, pricing, financial management and customer relations for McCain branded and private brand retail products.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

100% accountable for retail results on McCain Brand and Private Brand Potatoes and appetizers at assigned customers.Lead brokers to drive results at all customers - Participate in all important customer meetings and decisions.Effectively negotiate programs that provide win-win-win results for McCain, our Customers, and our Brokers.Work closely and effectively with appropriate McCain departments (marketing, customer service, supply chain, etc) to achieve customer specific business plan opportunities.Develop strong working relationships with customers and brokers in all key functional departments - executives, category management, space management, finance, marketing, logistics, etc.Participate in the annual budget building process to provide sound recommendations for volume, trade, new items, packaging, logistics, marketing, etc. for the next fiscal year.Develop annual business plans to achieve targeted budgets for assigned customers.Develop recommendations to address opportunities to drive incremental business based on trends, market conditions, and analytics.Assess broker performance across key factors and take appropriate actions to ensure outstanding service is provided.Manage trade promotions, customer deductions, damages and G&A expenses within budget.Provide monthly volume forecasts by item and work with appropriate personnel to manage company inventories.Analyze syndicated data and take appropriate action to capitalize on identified opportunities.Experience Required

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience in consumer product goods sales and management.Broker management experience, category management experience, and strong leadership, communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills required.Experienced in customer business development, trade budget management, sales analysis, and annual business planning.Strong technical and computer skills with high-level ability in Microsoft office applications.Travel Required.McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
