How you’ll make an impact:The Indirect Procurement Sourcing Sr. Analyst is responsible for supporting the sourcing and procurement of indirect goods and services, including but not limited to IT services, marketing, store operations supplies, and professional services. The role involves analyzing market trends, supporting the management of vendor relationships and cost savings initiatives while ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of services.

This role typically reports into the Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing and is based in our Buckhead office in our hybrid work environment.

50%: Strategic Sourcing

Lead the identification, evaluation of vendors that meet the company’s quality, cost and delivery requirements.

Organize the identification, analysis, translation, and documentation of business and user requirements to ensure the solution meets user needs.

Partner with Strategic Sourcing Manager / Sr. Manager to develop the negotiation strategy for pricing, terms and conditions of agreements with vendors, ensuring that contracts are in the best interest of Carter’s.

30%: Vendor Management

Coordinate with stakeholders on current vendor management activities including net new, renewal and termination.

Orchestrate vendor risk assessment, onboarding, continuous monitoring and offboarding processes.

Lead identification of cost savings or value creation opportunities within existing vendor relationships.

20%: Category Management

Lead market or industry trend analysis to develop potential savings opportunities to stay informed on industry trends and potential opportunities.

Strategize with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and initiatives.

Participate in ESG initiatives including Supplier Diversity and Sustainability.

We’d Love to hear from you if:Must have:

3-5 years of experience in sourcing and procurement, inclusive of managing large project financial analysis or project management responsibility.

4-year degree in engineering, business, supply chain, finance, or related field.

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot table, power query), and PowerPoint.

Proven record of ability to synthesize actionable decisions based on internal or external data.

Strong communication skills to effectively interpret stakeholder requirements.
