This individual will manage all steps of the closing process, from order tracking through the closing process for transactions across the country. A strong customer service acumen, attention to detail and a commitment to teamwork are key to this role. The ideal candidate would be a real estate paralegal or experienced title industry professional.This is a hybrid role with a 3-day in office minimum requirementEssential FunctionsPrepare, review and revise title commitments and title policiesReview title search documents such as deeds, mortgages, assignments and reconveyances, subdivision maps, assessor parcel maps, and legal descriptionsReview Buyer, Seller and Lender transaction documents in preparation for closingsCollate, scan and e-file and/or distribute closing documentsGather and enter title fees for settlement statement preparation, working in conjunction with the escrow teamCommunicate professionally and timely to all client and internal communicationsKnowledge and Skills/Technology UsedStrong time management skillsAttention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient with all MS Office products and AdobeAbility to quickly learn Company operating systems and a general familiarity with basic IT functionsTypical EducationHigh School diploma or equivalentParalegal Certificate or College degree preferredTypical Range of ExperienceReal estate Paralegal experience preferredLaw firm or title industry experience preferred3 to 5 years of real estate experience preferredPay Range: $21.62-$28.83 hourlyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
