JOB OVERVIEW

As the Senior Manager Indirect Procurement, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of indirect category sourcing for PIM Brands. The successful candidate is an experienced and strategic sourcing leader who is interested in helping us develop and implement a best-in-class procurement across all indirect spend categories, including Capital Expenditures and Operational Expenditures. The Senior Manager Indirect Procurement will work directly with Senior Leadership and cross-functional partners across operations, engineering, marketing, and finance. We are looking for hands-on, data-driven talent with a focus on speed and agility. This person will play a major role in supporting the on-going success of PIM Brands and the evolution of our business.

Who You Will Work With

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Planning, Direct Procurement, R&D, Facilities, and Finance to ensure the smooth coordination and execution of proactive spend management. You will collaborate with current and potential suppliers and 3rd parties to optimize indirect spend and capital expenditures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the procurement spend across indirect categories, developing our budget, and delivering the cost savings and functional improvement roadmaps

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to support PIM Brands growth objectives, including identifying and evaluating new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships

Provide an integrated view of areas for improvement in strategic procurement (source to contract) and transactional activity (procure to pay)

Work closely with cross-functional teams including DC operations, engineering, marketing, and finance to ensure that sourcing strategies are aligned with business objectives and meet the needs of internal stakeholders

Monitor industry trends and changes in the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks, and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly

Ensure that all sourcing activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, working collaboratively with them to identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings

Develop and implement processes and tools to track supplier performance and manage supplier risk; improve spend control and audit trail while driving efficiency gains, creating capacity for greater strategic focus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling and crouching. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools and controls. WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job will generally be performed at either PIM Corporate Headquarters in Park Ridge, NJ with visits to the manufacturing in Somerset, NJ or Somerset, NJ with visits to PIM Corporate Headquarters.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

Bachelors Degree in finance, procurement, supply chain, or applicable technical degree

10+ years experience in procurement or related function

Demonstrated knowledge of the fundamentals of procurement

Leadership experience in sourcing

Proven ability to implement comprehensive sourcing/purchasing programs. Proven track record in implementing cost-reduction initiatives

Ability to balance the relationship of suppliers, with the needs of the business.
