Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Agency Management Lead analyzes transactions posted to the general ledger, 1099 reporting, and cash reporting from the agency management system and determines the need for any system and/or ledger updates for accruals, prepaid, and adjusting updates or entries. The Agency Management Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.Responsibilities:Provide financial support for analyzing variations from budget for Agency Management reporting.Engage with the producers and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services Department of Insurance regulations specific to them if there are concerns related to missing or incomplete commissions.Perform audits related to commission payments that include system adjustments that need to be appropriately tied to transaction codes to systematically create the proper entries to the general ledger.Analyze and interpret Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and Department of Insurance regulations to establish required appointment fees for producers to ensure we are compliant when solicitation and selling of our products occur.Perform complex audits to help ensure commission payments are compliant with Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Department of Insurance regulations and Humana standards & regulations.Prepare responses for Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and Department of Insurance audits.File/send related returns, letters and other required reports according to Department of Insurance and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services regulations.Advise leadership to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and work under minimal supervision.Provide leadership/mentoring/coaching to associates within the department.Find viable solutions that meet business needs, absent from ideal tools and resources.Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications:8 or more years of financial analysis and/or reporting experience.2 or more years of project, process or people leadership experience.Proficient knowledge of VBA, SQL and SQL Server, including SSIS.Strong attention to detail and investigative skills.Experience working with large amounts of data.Experience with developing automation.Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel & Access.Must have a growth mindset with regards to new technologies and processes.Preferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.Previous experience leading a team of finance professionals or finance processes.Experience working in multiple systems at a time.Experience working with SSMS.Proficient in other object-oriented coding language.Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40Pay Range:

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $84,600 - $116,300 per year.
