About:Alexander Rose International are partnered with an expanding Southeast General Contractor looking for a Senior Project Manager based in Nashville. This role requires working experience in the industry for 5+ years.Position Roles and Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution

- Define project goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables. Organize and allocate resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment.Budget Management

- Work with estimators to prepare initial budgets and continually monitor costs. Track project expenditures, manage change orders, and ensure financial controls are in place to avoid overruns. Ensure the project remains profitable for the company.Team Leadership

- Lead project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and support teams. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. Provide guidance to junior project managers and other staff to ensure best practices are followed.Client Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring regular updates and addressing concerns. Engage and manage all stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.Contract Negotiations

- Oversee and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Manage contractual disputes or issues, including negotiating change orders or contract extensions.Quality Control

- Oversee project inspections and ensure quality standards are met at every phase. Ensure the project meets contractual obligations and quality benchmarks.Benefits:Employee Owned General ContractorCompany Vehicle / Vehicle AllowanceAnnual BonusWork-Life Balance401k Company MatchPosition Requirements:Knowledge, Experience & Competencies:Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field and at least 5 years of work experience as a Project Manager in a commercial/industrial construction environment.Exceptional organizational, time management, and decision-making/problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive client focus.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Vista, P6 Scheduling, Timberline estimating, and Procore.Must possess a valid, state-issued driver’s license and good driving record.
