Position DescriptionCGI has an immediate need for a Business Analyst/UAT Tester to join our team. This hybrid position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, (in CT or ET) preferred location is Reston, VA, Lafayette, LA, Columbia, SC, or Plano, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.Your future duties and responsibilities:Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a virtual teamAbility to manage to strict deadlines as well as prioritize and perform tasks in a high-pressure environmentStrong in multitasking, completing sprint goals and managing changing prioritiesAbility to diagnose and solve problems efficiently and effectivelyRequired Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role:6-8 years of Business Analyst experience including UAT Testing experience - system analysis and software testing by leveraging SQL, JIRA, or other toolsExcellent written communication skillSkilled in documentation and reporting for the purposes of system analysis, business requirement, testing, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as MSOffice and SQLSkilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understandProficiency in writing SQL queriesExperience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questionsPreferred To Have Skills But Not Required:Reporting and development skilled in Tableau, Power BI, or other database and reporting toolsSystem analysis and development skilled in Salesforce.Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field.CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
