Position SummaryPilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retentionMonitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipmentConducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programsInstructs both private and group Pilates classesPromotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to membersCompletes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness planMaintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studioRemains current on certifications and new trends in the industryEducates members on current health and fitness issues and trendsEnsures all members feel competent, confident, and connected by providing superior customer service through complimentary and based services/programmingDocuments all aspects of client programmingRemains current on credentials and continuing education to advance throughout the levels programProvides fitness floor assistance to all members to ensure safety, provide education, and motivate membersPosition RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED1 year of personal training experienceExperience in Pilates program designCertified Pilates TrainerTrained and Certified in Reformer, Tower, Chair and BarrelsAbility to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 poundsCPR and AED Certified

Preferred Requirements150 - 400 hours comprehensive Pilates Certificate (minimum education to include; Mat, Reformer, Tower, Chair)Pay

For the first 8 full weeks of employment, this position will pay an hourly wage of $14.42 and will be eligible for unit pay equivalent to $30 minus the applicable minimum wage for services. After 8 full weeks of employment, this position will be paid on a commission basis tied to performance goals.
