LGC Standards Industrial portfolio is a key strategic portfolio within LGC Standards with products situated across a variety of markets including petroleum, sustainable fuels, aviation, metal producers, 3rd party testing labs, and mining and geological exploration. The Product Manager for the Industrials portfolio of VHG and ARMI|MBH brands will collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive marketing programs and sales training, give technical input to eCommerce initiatives, work with demand planners on the demand forecast, define the New Product Development pipeline and manage the lifecycle of the Industrials portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the lifecycle of the Industrial portfolios, accountable for adding, removing, and making changes to products, collaborating with the Enterprise Data Management team.Define the New Product Development roadmap by collaborating with R&D, Market Development, Finance and Operations teams.Collaborate with the Demand planning team to ensure appropriate stocking and production runs of key products in the Industrial brands portfolio.Collaborate with Market Development and Marketing Operations on the planning and execution of global marketing programs and campaigns.Collaborate with the eCommerce and Marketing Operations teams to provide AdWords and input for Paid Search Advertising and Search Engine Optimization initiatives.Collaborate with Sales, Regional Marketing and Marketing Operations to develop and roll out training material to the sales teams.Collaborate with Global Pricing team and finance and decide on list pricing for new products as well as a recommendation for the annual list price changes to portfolio.QualificationsUndergraduate degree in science-based discipline, preferably chemistry, MBA is an asset.2+ years’ experience in product management, ideally in the Life Sciences tools or Analytical Chemistry industry.Good problem solving, coordination and consensus building skills.Keenly attentive to detail with strong analytical skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Goal orientated, with excellent time management and organisational skills.Proficient in strategic planning, market research and positioning of value propositions.Able to motivate, problem solve, deal with ambiguity, and effectively prioritize business needs.Strong MS Office proficiency is preferable.EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES
