Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:Development and creation as well as implementation of planning concepts and projects including the corresponding design specifications or general conditions for the Paint-Shop department.Responsible for the coordination and evaluation of product changes and its impact to the Paint Shop production processes, equipment and methods across all work sequences.Responsible for the planning of all application processes in Paint Shop production, equipment and methods.Creation of production plans for all work sequences according to the valid time finding procedures.Maintain and create an ergonomic and requirement‐oriented work environment in the Paint Shop.Planning of equipment as well as determination of material supply/delivery.Approval of technical specifications of production equipment.Creation of layouts, specifications, time schedules and investment plans.Preparation of offers comparative analyses and purchase orders.Optimization of series process materials and techniques in terms of quality, costs and process reliability.Realization of pre-series production ramp-up to series operation.Processing of planning orders, improvement proposals and change requests.Coordination of related departments, R&D and operators.Steering/coordination of external personnel/service providers.Location & Travel Expectations: This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.What you’ll bring

Here's what else you'll bring:3 years of professional experience in Paint Shop Planning.Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related fields.Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.What you'll gain

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Initial base salary range = $110,000-$130,000.Apply for this job
