Materials ManagerOverview:
We are seeking a skilled Materials Manager to join our team. As a Materials Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the supply chain process, production planning, inventory management, and control. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP, Lean manufacturing, demand planning, contract management, fabrication processes, MRP systems, and possess a strong understanding of supply chain operations.Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategies to optimize materials procurement and inventory control processes.Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining cost-effectiveness.Utilize SAP and other relevant software for efficient inventory tracking and management.Lead production planning activities to meet demand requirements and production schedules.Implement Lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and reduce waste.Manage contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.Oversee fabrication processes to ensure quality standards are met.Utilize MRP systems to plan material requirements based on production schedules.Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.Skills:Proficiency in SAP for inventory management and procurement processes.Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.Experience in demand planning and production scheduling.Ability to manage contracts with suppliers effectively.Familiarity with fabrication processes within a manufacturing environment.Understanding of supply chain operations and logistics.Proficient in MRP systems for material planning and control.Excellent skills in inventory management and control.If you are a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in materials management and possess the required skills, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
