Wake Contracting is seeking a team member that is passionate about remodeling and producing high quality work. We are looking for someone with experience leading a crew that can help hold everyone accountable to a timeline and our high standards for quality. Based in New Haven, we’re a tight crew of workers that are looking to expand the team! Our primary goal is to serve our customers, improving their quality of life by providing a second-to-none customer service experience!Skills/Qualifications:3+ years of professional carpentry experience is required.Cabinetry, drywall installation, bathroom remodeling, trim work and flooring installation are all key skills that we are looking for!3+ years of general construction experience is required.Multiple years of project management or crew lead are required.Motivated - You can consistently wake yourself up in the morning!Goal-OrientedDetail-OrientedA Go-GetterHave great attitude and a desire to learnMust be able to verbally communicate wellMust appreciate Dad jokesWhat You Will Do:You will arrive at work on time.You will have the game plan ready to communicate to the team.You will maintain quality and standards.You will report any issues directly to the owner.You will manage staying on schedule and communicating change orders.You will focus on over-delivering and wowing every human that you come into contact with.You will present yourself in a professional manner at all times.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:Employee discountPaid time offReferral programSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayApplication Question(s):Do you have dependable transportation?Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Carpentry: 3 years (Required)Construction: 3 years (Required)Management: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Work Location: In person
