Position Summary

This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and preparing APD Packages in support of oil and gas operations. Duties will include site planning, stakeholder engagement, data review, and entries to multiple agencies. This person will also assist with regulatory compliance reporting as needed. Occasional travel to visit regulatory agencies and Chord field personnel will be required. This position is in downtown Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience.Essential Job Functions

Support well operations, drilling activities, and audit obligations as neededInterface with drilling, production, facilities, development, and planning personnel to identify site locationsPrepare, submit and track regulatory paperworkOrder and track resource surveys as neededCollaborate in preparation of the drilling scheduleMake certain all annual updates, renewals, and reports are submitted to state and local municipal entitiesReview, summarize, and provide internal guidance regarding permit conditions of approvalProvide support and assistance to management and operations teams regarding required permitting actions, project status, and potential challengesKeep company informed of any changes to permit requirements to ensure complianceRepresent Chord Energy for on sitesInform drilling and production personnel of applicable regulations that might impact activitiesMaintain regulatory records and paperworkInteract with state and federal government agenciesThis job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position. Bachelor's degree in the required expertise or comparable relevant experience5 years of relevant oil & gas experienceProficient in Microsoft SuiteAbility to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing companyAbility to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and research skillsAble to travel as needed; travel is limitedPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephoneThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
