We are looking for a part-time Development Operations Associate to join our growing team at Project Success. Project Success is a youth development nonprofit organization that helps students connect to their purpose. We work with more than 16,000 6th-12th grade students and their families annually and have more than 225,000 alumni around the world. Learn more at projectsuccess.orgThe Development Operations Associate supports the data, gift processing, and operational functions of the Development team. They are responsible for database maintenance, gift processing, donor acknowledgments, document management, calendar tracking, and other operational tasks that contribute to the overall success of fundraising and donor relations efforts.

This role is part of the Development team at Project Success.Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong analytical skills for managing data. They should have a working knowledge of project coordination and database management, particularly Raiser’s Edge, a commitment to safeguarding sensitive information, and excellent communication skills.Core Job Responsibilities

Database AdministrationMaintain donor and prospect records in the Raiser’s Edge and RENXT databaseDevelop and maintain reports requested by the Development team, Finance team, and the Executive DirectorWork with the Development team to maintain data-related process and procedure documentationContinuously improve overall data quality by identifying and correcting data inconsistencies and inform revisions to workflows and database practicesProactively learn existing and newly released functions of Raiser’s Edge NXT database and other tools to utilize in workServe as the primary organizational contact for Blackbaud Customer Success team, for RENXT/Raiser’s Edge training, resources, and supportGift ProcessingProcess gifts and pledge commitments received via mail and electronically with accuracy, completeness, and timelinessEvaluate gift documentation, conduct research on gifts, and communicate with relevant staff before finalizing entry, when necessaryProduce and send donor acknowledgments and year-end tax statementsWork with Finance team to reconcile fundraising database reports with accounting database reportsCreate and mail annual pledge remindersAdministrative & Operations SupportTrack all grant deadlines and reporting requirements and action tracking in the development plan and grants calendar, Raiser’s Edge, and RENXTPull donor lists and execute mailing for fundraising appeals for the annual fundSupport the execution of annual large-scale fundraising events (Dreams to Action Breakfast, Fielding Dreams) and stewardship and cultivation eventsCoordinate scheduling and print and prepare materials for donor meetings and events, as assignedConduct prospect research at the direction of the Development teamOther Duties as AssignedMission, Vision, and Values + Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility

This position is part-time, with 20-30 hours of work per week. The position is hybrid, with a minimum of 10 hours per week in-office at Project Success headquarters. Specific details regarding schedule and hours will be discussed during the interview process.The compensation package includes the following:$23 - $25 an hour6 days of paid Sick & Safe Time, with unused days rolling over for up to a maximum of 10 daysSIMPLE IRA retirement plan with up to a 3% matchFree parking at the PS officeTo Apply
