We’re Hiring a Quality Assurance Manager

Momentum Manufacturing Group – Engineered Extrusions plays an essential role in creating some of the world’s most innovative products, from assembly lines to sporting equipment to solar panels. As New England’s largest, fully integrated aluminum extrusion manufacturer, we support a wide range of customers with custom aluminum extrusions, machining, fabrication, assembly, and shipping services.We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to work in partnership with our customers to help them achieve their quality, cost, and time-to-market goals while helping the company grow its position as a market leader in aluminum extrusion manufacturing.

This position will work onsite in our Franklin, NH, facility.RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor the performance of the entire Quality Management System, including procedures, manuals, work instructions, and related quality documentation to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.Manage and develop Quality Assurance Technicians to support manufacturing in such activities as Receiving Inspection, In-process inspections, Final Inspection, Dock Audits, 1st Articles, In-process Audits, and Inspection methods.Supervise Quality Department employees and activities, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to quality issues, analyzing testing results to provide feedback, and always maintaining open communication with other departments for maximum efficiency.Collaborate with others to standardize work in manufacturing and/or support processes with the intent of reducing internal and external nonconforming product or rework.Analyze and interpret customer blueprints, data, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments requirements.Serve as the liaison between the company and customers for resolution of quality problems and overall goodwill.Manage the Customer Return/Complaint process and ensure all appropriate containment, root cause, corrective actions, and verification actions are taken and followed through to completion.Represent the voice of the customer to the Manufacturing Floor.Represent the company in customer quality audits.Develop budget and cost control measures for the Quality Department.WHAT YOU BRING (Experience & Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related technical field preferred.5+ years’ experience in a Quality or Manufacturing discipline, preferably in a managerial capacity.Knowledge of ISO-9001:2015 standards and conduction audits.Experience with the implementation of standards and procedures required to achieve and maintain automotive industry quality certifications (i.e. IAFT- 6949, ISO 14001, etc.) preferred.Experience with APQP and PPAP process requirements (i.e. Process flow, control plans, PFMEA’s) is preferred.ASQ-CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and ASQ-CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) or ISO/QS Lead Assessor credentials are preferred.Knowledgeable in the effective use of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools and concepts to assist in process improvements as needed.Familiar with problem-solving methods (i.e. Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, PFMEA’s, 5why, Fishbone, etc.).Knowledge of blueprint drawings and GD&T as applicable.Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office proficiency, is required.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to deliver presentations preferred.WHAT WE OFFER
