Operations Manager, Special Projects

will work with our executive, operations and product/engineering teams to foster operational improvements through feature development, customer-vendor onboardings, account management, process improvement, development, & implementation and other special projects within the operations department. In addition to working with the executive team, this position will also work directly with respective departmental/regional managers to assist with company growth and organizational development.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesSupport operational goals of CFO/COODevelop strategy and tactics to achieve long-term and near-term strategic objectivesLeading from the front when necessary and doing whatever it takes to ensure operational successMaintain relationships with customer stakeholders, including buyers, influencers, users, and their vendorsLiaise between customer users and product team for new feature evaluationEstablish KPIs to measure performance of various segments and derive actionable insightsBuild and lead a team that focuses on operational excellence, customer service, and maintaining a win or die mentality on an as-needed basisHire, develop, and manage performance and development of colleaguesOther duties and special projects as assignedRequirementsCurrent or previous experience as Supply Chain Analyst/Engineer preferredProven track record of exceeding annual targets and KPIsProven ability to work cross-functionally across customers’ operations, IT, supply chain, logistics, and finance departments while supporting customer adoptionUnderstanding of service-focused operations teams that support a group of customers whose operations are 24/7/365Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in all projects and an ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as necessary.Ability to multi-task projects and required tasks in an organized fashionAbility to work in a team environment as well as be self-motivated in individual projectsAbility to communicate both verbally and in writing to all levels of the organizationProficiency in Microsoft OfficeEducational/Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree (MBA is a plus)4-10 years of working experience1+ years of experience leading a team of 5 or more direct reportsStart-up experience (e.g., Series A, B, or C) strongly preferredExperience with Customer Change Management preferredCompensation:
