A Technical Consultant acts as a liaison between technical and business aspects of an organization and is involved in the design, support, and implementation of the project.Responsibilities
Understanding all aspects of the system/platform, from both a business and technical point of view.Confirming the integrity and design of the technology system integrations.Leading the implementation of the program.Coordinating with the software development team to ensure they build a system that is easily maintainable and runs smoothly.Determining organization needs and identifying system specifications.Analyzing the needs of large systems and breaking them down into smaller manageable parts.Planning and designing the structure of technology systems, discussing these with the client.Communicating the best products and systems to the client.Communicating system requirements to software designers and developers; explaining system structure to them and providing assistance throughout the assembly process.Choosing suitable software, hardware, and suggesting integration methods.Leading all aspects of development and implementation of assigned programs and guiding.Helping resolve technical problems as and when they arise.Carrying out testing procedures to ensure systems are running efficiently.Ensuring that systems satisfy quality standards and procedures.Working with senior IT personnel to devise plans for future IT requirements in support of the target state platform.Requirements
Required Skills:Bachelor’s Degree or Postgraduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.At least 8+ years’ experience in SAP End to End implementation, roll-out, production support, enhancement, and upgrade projects.Expert knowledge of ABAP Workbench, Object Oriented ABAP, ALV reporting, Adobe forms, SMARTFORM/SAP Scripts, Webdynpro, Module pools, and Data.Expert knowledge with programming in SAP development languages and practices related to ABAP on HANA, ODATA, CDS Views, BOPF Framework, etc.Prototype, develop, and deploy custom Fiori & SAPUI5 applications using HANA Business Technology Platform, Web IDE, and Business Application Studio.Develop UI5 based prototypes and carry out prototype testing using wire framing tools. Knowledge of SAP Build or Approver will be a plus.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Experience in developing applications in Retail business processes and in various modules including but not limited to FICO/SD/MM/CAR.Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.Must possess strong communication skills, be a quick learner, and be highly motivated.Good team player with the ability to work independently and quickly during fast-paced times.
