Catalent in Somerset, NJ is home to oral solid dose manufacturing operations as part of the Oral and Specialty Delivery (OSD) business unit. On site we have our state-of-the-art laboratory, clinical, and commercial manufacturing plant for oral dose forms in addition to being the Catalent Center of Excellence for handling Highly Potent Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.
The
Enterprise Business Intelligence Lead
will be responsible for leading and overseeing the evolution and maturity of the business intelligence lifecycle, from data collection and transformation to analysis and visualization. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen.
The
Enterprise Business Intelligence Lead
will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and Enterprise Data Sciences & Analytics teammates to ensure the correct business needs are identified, effective BI/analytics solutions are designed, and ensure data integrity and accuracy, and drive self-service BI across the organization.

The Role:
Provide strategic direction, solution architecture and approach, and leadership to the business intelligence project teams, promoting self-service BI, launching, and establishing and leading a new Analytics Community of Practice, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment
Leadership experience, with a history of working across multiple geographies with teams located in different geographies
Life Sciences industry experience, required
Experience with GxP processes, required
Manage and oversee a team of offshore contractors who perform managed services, project delivery work, and continuous improvement projects
Drive a culture of self-service BI and thought leadership through experience and expertise
Ensure data governance and data quality standards are met throughout the data lifecycle
Up to 5% travel expectations

The Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field required; Master's degree is a plus
Seven+ years of proven experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role, with a strong track record of leading global BI initiatives
Leadership experience, with a history of working across multiple geographies with teams located in different geographies
Life Sciences industry experience, required
Experience with GxP processes, required
Familiarity with Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services relevant to data management and analytics
Experience with Power BI apps leveraging Databricks as the underpinning is highly desirable
Experience in data visualization tools (SQL, Python, R) and BI visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, etc.)
High proficiency with Microsoft Power BI
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
