Staffmark Workforce Solutions offers this exciting contract opportunity at a global leader in electronics, mobile devices, and appliances located in Santa Ana, CA.Logistics SpecialistTop Three Sets Required:Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Graphs).Inventory Management or reconciliation (Not just cycle counting).WMS system (SAP Preferred) (SAP, WMP, NERP).Position DescriptionResponsibilities:The main function of a logistics specialist is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to the production schedule. A typical logistics specialist is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformation to standards and specifications.Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.Revise production schedule, when required, due to design changes, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions.Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.Requirements:Bachelors or equivalent.Five + years of experience.Advanced Excel skills are a MUST; heavy use of Excel data regularly.Systems background & experience & excellent communication skills - Will work with offsite warehouses and work through system transactions (based on emails and phone calls).Must be VERY meticulous.Experience in ERP/WMS (Warehouse Management System)/SAP.Basic understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics.Background in consumer electronics/home appliances is nice to have.Candidate may work overtime as needed (5-10 hours a week at max).We are looking for candidates who have warehouse experience/background on the operations side (in the office).Staffmark talent working with this client receive competitive compensation and a great benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and Paid Time Off plus more!The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
