Business Development Manager, Solutions Acceleration

to join our growing team in the Americas. This role does not reside within our Sales Organization, rather is a cross-functional role within our Solutions & Services team, that sets the strategic vision for accelerating demand of solutions across key target groups to activate our sales organization. These groups include national systems integrators, enterprise end-customers, and our vertical market segments.

In this role, you’ll join a team responsible for generating awareness, demand, and growth for Axis’ software & NVR solutions, as well as audio, intercoms, & access control. Across these key target groups, you will develop strategic business plans and identify opportunities to advance each product portfolio to set up future success.

What you’ll do here as Business Development Manager, Solutions Acceleration:

With team, build & execute concise and focused strategies, plans & goals for each of Axis’ key target groups in alignment with company go-to-market strategy.

Develop, maintain and grow cross-functional, customer & partner relationships to support sales and assist in driving opportunities.

Work with cross-functional teams to increase awareness of and reduce or remove perceived hurdles for developing business for our solutions.

Develop and manage programs and initiatives that drive growth across key target groups.

Participate in trade shows, partner, end-customer, and segment events.

Provide monthly reporting on strategic programs, initiatives, progress, KPIs, and opportunities to management.

Enable cross-functional stakeholders to be champions for Axis’ software & NVR solutions, as well as audio, intercoms, & access control.

Provide product demonstrations to support large opportunities.

Track record of ensuring knowledge is spread to salesforce and channel on how to position and win business.

Exceptional communication, public speaking, presentation, training, and listening skills.

Consistent in follow-up and execution.

Solid command and experience with the Microsoft 365 suite of products.

Experience with Sales Force or similar CRM platform.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

Bachelors’ Degree required.

5+ years in sales, business development, account or program management ideally in the video and physical security markets.

Experience in the physical security market; preferred knowledge of product categories such as VMS, server, software, intercom, audio, and/or access control solutions.

Experience relative to national systems integrators, enterprise end-customers and/or vertical market segments.

Bonus points for experience working within a channel sales model.

Based in our Chelmsford, MA office preferred; remote considered for the right candidate.

A willingness to travel, including international, up to maximum 50%.

Physical Demands and Travel:

Physical Demands: Employee is occasionally required to lift 20-40 lbs.

Travel: 50% maximum required.
